New York City Marathon
The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the world’s most iconic races: a 26.2-mile journey through the heart of the city that never sleeps. Each November, over 50,000 runners from every corner of the globe come together to conquer the five boroughs: starting in Staten Island, sweeping over the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn, through the lively streets of Queens, across the Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan, a brief detour through the Bronx, and finally the triumphant finish in Central Park.
The race is more than a test of endurance; it’s a moving celebration of diversity, community, and resilience. Crowds line the streets, waving flags, blasting music, and cheering for every runner as if they were family. From elite athletes chasing records to first-time marathoners chasing dreams, every stride tells a story of determination and belonging.
For many, the NYC Marathon is a bucket-list experience: an emotional, electric run through the city’s spirit: loud, proud, and unstoppable.
